Jurassic Parliament Announces Leadership Transition
Jurassic Parliament is entering a leadership transition, with Andrew Estep assuming responsibility for management and operations of the company, effective May 8, 2026.
Founder Ann Macfarlane is stepping back from day-to-day leadership due to health considerations and will continue to support the organization in an advisory role during the transition.
Estep, who has been involved with Jurassic Parliament since its early days and has served as a behind-the-scenes advisor for many years, will lead the organization’s ongoing work supporting effective governance through the principles and processes of Robert’s Rules of Order.
“We will be focusing on a smooth transition in the coming weeks,” said Macfarlane. “I have great confidence in Andrew and his ability to continue this work.”
During this transition period, Jurassic Parliament is prioritizing continuity of its core services. Online training and resources will continue as usual, along with in-person training led by contractors Emilia Sanchez and Tisha Gieser. Previously scheduled live workshops have been canceled, and the frequency of newsletters will be temporarily reduced.
“While my role will look different, I am committed to continuing the work of Jurassic Parliament and ensuring we continue to serve organizations effectively,” said Estep.
