What if rogue is a whistleblower about board being corrupt?

Question: You write about rogue board members. What if the rogue is a whistleblower about the board being corrupt? Any guidance on that issue?
Answer: In our view, the first thing a whistleblower has to do is to find some allies. It is almost impossible for a single individual to call out corruption and make it stick. With allies, change can occur.
Here is our article on what to do when the board isn’t following its bylaws, which would certainly apply to corruption:

And here is an article about something that happened last year. A very courageous board member was eventually kicked off the board because she wouldn’t go along. I provided some coaching, and eventually there was real change in the organization.

Hope this helps!
