Digital Download – 50 Guidelines for Public Comment

Public comment at local government meetings is becoming more challenging. Members of the public sometimes arrive at the meeting with expectations that don’t match the reality of the meeting’s purpose. As always, nothing in this article constitutes legal advice.

This article is seven pages long. The content is based on the principles of Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised, 12th edition. This is an updated version of our 2018 article, Guidelines for Public Comment in Local Government.
